Ultra-precise positioning in six degrees of freedom
Rohwedder Micro Assembly GmbH further expands the range of applications for the several years successfully on the market-placed MicRohCell® compact. The positioning and alignment of miniaturized components requires high precision and resolution in motion up to six degrees of freedom. Components must often be positioned at multiple angles precisely aligned and spatially high precision.
The increasing automation of the assembly and miniaturization of the products requires more and more that components must be aligned in the gripped state and then fixed. Applications are found in assembly and alignment in the field of optics and micro-optics. Especially in the assembly of beam shaping and collimating optics, called FAC assembly (Fast Axis Collimation) and the adjustment of laser resonators.
