Rohwedder's MicRohCell® delivers just the right flexibility for your needs. It will enable you to respond to changing order levels by interchanging complete (MicRohFlex®) assembly units – while the basic machine with precision axes, vision technology and controller remains in place. The integrated user-friendly control unit makes this process switch a fast and easy exercise.
Compact High Precision
Micro assembly technology at its most refined – our MicRohCell® Compact HP pushes precision to the limits of what is physically achievable, yet retains maximum flexibility.
The system features a granite gantry structure for temperature compensation, in conjunction with ultra-precise linear motor technology. With its 0.1 µm glass ruler resolution, combined with micro camera technology, it delivers an ultimate accuracy of ± 2 µm.
Rounding out the bottom end of our product portfolio, the MicRohCell® P system is the cost-efficient baseline solution for customers requiring a lower level of assembly precision - your entry-level ticket to flexible manufacturing.
This manual input station for integration of one operator may serve as your starter kit for scalable semi-automatic applications.
Ultra-precise positioning in six degrees of freedom:
Rohwedder Micro Assembly GmbH further expands the range of applications for the several years successfully on the market-placed MicRohCell® compact.
The positioning and alignment of miniaturized components requires high precision and resolution in motion up to six degrees of freedom. Components must often be positioned at multiple angles precisely aligned and spatially high precision.
The increasing automation of the assembly and miniaturization of the products requires more and more that components must be aligned in the gripped state and then fixed.
Highest precision and resolution:
The high precision of the base machine which allows a process-stable positioning and placement accuracy of < 2 microns in the three principal axes, (work area 510 x 450 x 80 mm) without any problems, will be increased by the Commander6. Very small increments of < 0.05 microns as well as an extremely high repeatability of < 0.15 microns can be realized.
The micromanipulator Commander6 has been specifically designed for automatic alignment with highest precision and motion resolution in six degrees of freedom. The alignment can also be done active.
Translatoric steps in the double-digit nanometer range and angle increments of a few microrad allow to process demanding assembly and alignment tasks in the field of optics and micro-optics automated. Other applications are found in the assembly of beam shaping and collimating optics, called FAC assembly (Fast Axis Collimation) and the adjustment of laser resonators.
